Our World Needs Sustainable Solutions
Sargassum and green waste in landfills contribute to pollution, methane and CO₂ emissions, and environmental harm as they rot.
Upcycling is the solution, and we do it by transforming waste into biochar, nutrient-rich compost, and electricity through sustainable processes.
Stretching across the Atlantic and affecting coasts from Africa to the Americas, the 2024 sargassum bloom reached a staggering 13 million tons, a direct result of fertilizer runoff and warming oceans, amplifying its devastating impact on marine life and coastal communities.
Floating mats of sargassum poses a severe threat to marine life, entangling and suffocating species such as turtles, fish, dolphins, lobsters, and crabs. Its suffocating presence extends to coral reefs, seagrass, sea marshes and mangroves, and prevents sea turtles and seabirds from nesting.
Green waste in landfills presents a significant environmental challenge, with approximately 33% of global waste comprising organic materials such as palm fronds, yard debris, and agricultural residues. As reported by the United Nations Environment Programme, the anaerobic decomposition of organic waste in landfills is responsible for about 70% of methane emissions generated during this process.

Our Products
Carbon Removal Solution A:
Biochar
At our upcycling facility, we produce biochar, a carbon-rich material created through an eco-friendly pyrolysis process. This technology transforms difficult-to-process waste, such as palm fronds, storm debris, and invasive species, into a powerful soil enhancer.
By adding biochar to the soil, we improve fertility, water retention, and reduce methane and nitrous oxide emissions. It also provides a habitat for microorganisms that consume these harmful gases, making it an effective solution to mitigate climate change.
For companies aiming to meet net-zero targets, biochar is an excellent way to offset carbon emissions. Research shows that biochar carbon removal is one of the safest and most permanent methods available. By purchasing our biochar carbon credits, companies can directly support carbon sequestration and make measurable progress toward their sustainability goals.
Our approach benefits small farmers, orchards, plantations, and rural communities by ensuring carbon stays in the soil, where it has the greatest impact. Additionally, our processes are third-party certified and audited by the Gold Standard, ensuring transparency, sustainability, and real environmental impact.
Carbon Removal Solution B:
Compost
At our upcycling facility, we transform sargassum into nutrient-rich compost using advanced windrow techniques. By blending collected sargassum with shredded materials and aerating the mixture daily with turners, we accelerate decomposition.
Throughout the process, we incorporate biochar and a proprietary microbial formula that neutralizes harmful heavy metals, including arsenic, ensuring a safe, high-quality end product suitable for both agriculture and livestock feed.
With the sargassum crisis intensifying year after year, our solution has the potential to scale up to 1 million tons annually across the Caribbean and Latin America. This would sequester 1 million tons of CO2—comparable to removing the emissions from over 200,000 cars on the road for an entire year, helping to reduce methane emissions and make a substantial contribution to combating climate change.
Carbon Removal Solution C:
Produce Renewable Energy
At our upcycling facility, we utilize an environmentally-friendly system that transforms wood waste and biomass into clean, renewable energy. This cutting-edge technology generates electricity to power on-site charging stations, ensuring our battery-operated electric UTV and machinery stay fully charged and ready to operate.
Equipped with advanced pollution control technology, our system not only reduces harmful greenhouse gas emissions but also helps lower operational costs. It efficiently processes a variety of materials- whole logs, root balls, pallets, and crates- without the need for grinding or hauling.
Portable and self-contained, we can easily relocate it wherever needed, providing us with a flexible, sustainable energy solution that powers our operations and reduces our environmental footprint.
This technology is especially valuable in remote islands and communities, where electricity can be costly and unreliable, offering a dependable, off-grid energy source for both our needs and the local area.
